Don't Miss These Key Steps As You Manifest Your Vision
What's your vision for your life? Do you have one? Do you know what you want? Are you clear about it?
Clarity. That's step number 1 for creating the life you desire.
Clarity is great, but I don't believe it's enough...
We must understand that whatever we want will require us to become the person who is a match for that experience and put in the work necessary to attain it.
For example, you might want to become a best selling author. Then, if you're clear on that desired outcome, you understand that at some point you're going to have to sit down and put in the effort to write the book.
In my experience, it's at this point that I notice most people stop the pursuit of their dreams — they settle for comfort and ease over putting in the work.
Our culture has programmed us for instant gratification. Hard work has mostly disappeared because it means we have to wait an unknown amount of time to get what we want as we work towards it. We believe everything in life should have 1-day shipping, including our goals and dreams. We're impatient. And trust me, impatience has been something I personally work to overcome every day!
Manifesting and ahcieving our dreams requires us to make time to work towards those dreams. We must prioritize them and be persistent in the pursuit of making them a reality.
I believe we have to want that future so much that we get invested and energized by it that we don't care how long it takes or what you'll need to do to make it happen. We will find a way.
It's also important to understand that just because you don't have physical evidence of your dreams being a reality yet, that doesn't mean they are not in progress. You have to manage your impatience and doubt and stay connected to that future while you are putting in the consistent effort.
The first thought of becoming a coach for me happened more than 6 years ago as of writing this! I got clear that that's what I wanted and went after it. I persisted and today that vision has become a reality. What is easy? Heck no. Worth it? Heck yes. I get to live my dream of serving others and helping them transform their lives. That, to me, was worth persisting and working hard.
As we work towards creating our vision, I also belive we need a very strong 'why' to back us up when we lose motivation. We have to remember why we're doing any of this in the first place! Having a 'why' bigger than yourself is what's going to keep fueling the fire.
So, make sure you connect what you want to an outcome bigger than yourself driven by contribution and service. This leads to endless motivation. Don't do it just for the money or recognition — that guarantees that you will not be fulfilled. Stay humble and the money and significance you desire will come.
In summary, get clear about what you want and why you want it. Remember that your 'why' has to be strong enough to push you through the tough times. Then, get after it with unwavering persistence! It's simple, but not easy... It will require your best. But you and I know that it'll be absolutely worth it.
With love and gratitude,
